a showcase of artwork designed with ASCII text characters. ASCII, an acronym
for "American Standard Code for Information Interchange," is used to assign
English characters to numbers. ASCII is the format used to send most
plain-text email, including most email list and ezine messages. These
pictures are often created simply for their aesthetic value, but they can
also be used as email signatures, tables, charts, or ezine graphics. In addition to the listings on the ASCIIArtGallery.com site, an email newsletter features new submissions and additions. We've placed these signatures/initials next to both the artwork and the artist's link. |
